David L. Ladehoff

David L. Ladehoff age 77 of Arlington, Nebraska passed away, Monday, August 23, 2021 at Nebraska Medical Center surrounded by his family.
David was born July 27, 1944 at West Point, NE to Rueben and Ella (Wulf) Ladehoff.  He grew up on a farm by North Bend, NE. On November 1, 1969 he married Karen Christensen at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Bennington, NE.  They lived in Schuyler, NE where he worked at Schuyler Pack.  They then moved to Karen’s home place to farm.  He worked at Hormel for a number of years.  Then he worked at Rhea Alfalfa Mill in Arlington.  After he retired he worked for area farmers. He enjoyed mowing at St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery and watching his grandsons playing sports.
David is survived by his wife of 52 years, Karen, children, Stephanie Ladehoff and Cory (Brandy) Ladehoff and grandchildren, Caitlin, Oliver and Owen all of Arlington; brothers, Harold Ladehoff of Lincoln, NE and Harvey Ladehoff of North Bend, NE and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Harlan Ladehoff; sisters-in –law, Gayle Ladehoff and Emogene Rohlff; and brother-in-law, Virgil Rohlff.
Funeral will be 10:30 A.M., Monday, August 30, 2021 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church north of Arlington.  Visitation will be on Sunday from 4-7 P.M., at Reckmeyer-Moser Funeral Home in Arlington.  Visitation will continue on Monday 1 hour prior to the service at the church.  Interment will be at St. Paul’s Cemetery, Arlington, NE.
