The Fremont Moo, Fremont’s own 2020 Expedition League Champion baseball team, is ready to begin the 2021 season Saturday!
Big Dog 98.9/1340 is the flagship station for the Prestigious Pasture poodles, as they hope to repeat as the league champion in 2021. Big Dog 98.9/1340 will broadcast 54 of the 63 games this year. Games will also stream on the Fremontmoo.com website, and at Bigdognow.com. Nate “No Bull” Rohr returns to the microphone, with Color commentary from Zach “Boomer” Berman, to bring you all the exciting action from pastures far away and the home field of the Moo, Moeller Field.
The 2021 schedule kicks off in Hastings against the rival Sodbusters on Saturday, May 22nd. The Moo will play 2 games in Hastings before returning to Fremont for a May 25th home opener against the Sioux Falls Sunfish at Moeller Field. 32 home games are scheduled for the Moo along with 33 road games to complete a 65 game regular season schedule. The final regular season game will be August 7th. The Moo will compete in the Clark Division along with the Hastings Sodbusters, Pierre Trappers, Sioux Falls Sunfish, Spearfish Sasquatch and Western Nebraska Pioneers. The winner of the Clark Division will play the winner of the Lewis Division in a Best of 3 Expedition League Championship Series beginning on August 13th.
This is the 3rd season for Fremont Moo baseball , led by Expedition league coach of the year, Shea Bennett.
