NSAA Spring Academic All-State Awards Honor 27 Local Students

LINCOLN – Each year, the Nebraska School Activities Association and the Nebraska
Chiropractic Physicians Association recognize students who have been nominated
by their schools, based on their individual academic excellence, leadership and
significant contributions made to their NSAA activity through the NSAA Academic All-State Awards.
In the Spring award announcement, recognition was given to nine students from Bergan and eighteen students from Fremont High. Those honored were:

Archbishop Bergan

  • Boys Golf: Jarett Boggs, Brady Davis
  • Music: Blaire Davis, Blaire Hilbers
  • Boys Soccer: Alexander Langenfeld
  • Boys Track & Field: Shea Gossett, Samuel Sleister
  • Girls Track & Field: Lauren Baker, Jadin Ostrand

Fremont High School

  • Baseball: Brady Benson, Jack Cooper
  • Boys Golf: Grady Moeller
  • Journalism: McKenzi Geaghan. Kayla Monaghan
  • Music: Shane Miller, Logan Schlautman
  • Boys Soccer: Caleb Kirby
  • Girls Soccer: Madeline Jones, Alexandra Lamme
  • Girls Tennis: Tawnie Escamilla, Katelyn Johnson
  • Boys Track & Field: Nathan Osness, Owen Wagner
  • Girls Track & Field: Elli Dahl, Hannah Meyer
  • Unified Track & Field: Morgan Ondracek, Chris Perez

Each student qualified for these awards by being a varsity player or organizational leader who has played a significant role on the team or in the activity during the Spring season, and who has a minimum cumulative GPA 3.7 on a 4.0-point scale.
