FREMONT, Neb. – The 2021 Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Wrestling Championships hosted by Midland University will take place in Fremont, Nebraska on February 19-20. In addition to crowning this year’s individual champions and the postseason team champion, this event will also serve as the NAIA North Region Qualifier.
The bracketed competition will be held on Friday, February 19, and Saturday, February 20 inside the Wikert Event Center in Fremont, Nebraska. There will be three mats of action beginning at 5:00 p.m. on Friday and 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
Champions will be crowned in ten (10) weight classes: 125 lbs., 133 lbs., 141 lbs., 149 lbs., 157 lbs., 165 lbs., 174 lbs., 184 lbs., 197 lbs., and 285 lbs. Additionally, third- and fifth-place bouts will be contested where needed, to determine the conference’s qualifiers for the national championships. The 2021 NAIA Wrestling Championships will be March 5-6 at Hartman Arena in Park City, Kansas.
Concordia University is the defending GPAC Tournament Champion while Doane University won the 2021 GPAC duals championship with an 8-0 record.

Tournament pairings will go live on Friday afternoon after the seeding meeting.
