3RPHD COVID-19 Risk Dial Update

The COVID-19 Community Risk Dials for the Three Rivers Public Health Department (3RPHD) jurisdiction of Dodge, Washington, and Saunders counties has been updated for the week.
3RPHD Jurisdiction:

  • 3.00 Current Week
  • 3.00 Previous Week

This week the 3RPHD jurisdiction stayed the same at 3.00 due to a decrease in the number of cases, an increase in weekly positivity, increased community spread, a decrease in OMHCC inpatients diagnosed with COVID-19, and an increase in the percentage of ICU beds that are being used.
Dodge County:

  • 2.86 Current Week
  • 3.00 Previous Week

Saunders County:

  • 2.86 Current Week
  • 3.14 Previous Week

Washington County

  • 3.00 Current Week
  • 3.00 Previous Week

The main factors considered in the risk dials include:

  • The increase in the number of COVID-19 cases over the past three weeks.
  • The increase in the percentage of positive COVID-19 tests.
  • The capacity of the district and local healthcare system including the number of patients hospitalized with COVID-19, the ventilators being utilized, and the percentage available of adult ICU beds.
  • The presence of community clusters and or community spread.
  • The availability of 3RPHD to trace all identified contacts of positive cases in 48 hours.

Please continue to avoid the 3 C’s—Crowded Places, Confined Spaces, and Close Contact.
