FREMONT- The Fremont Police Department received two separate hit and run property damage reports Tuesday.
The first was received at approximately 8:30 am in the 1900 block of east 1st Street. Reported damaged was a wooden utility pole. A white pickup truck, unknown make or model, was observed striking the pole. The driver then left the scene. The estimated damage to the pole is $2,000.
The second report was received at approximately 9:40 am at a residence in the 500 block of east 8th Street. Reported damaged was a 2011 Ford Focus which was parked on the street overnight. Damage estimates to the Focus are unknown at this time.
