Susan M. Benjamin, 71 years, of Fremont, NE passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at Methodist Fremont Health. She was born on November 24, 1949 in David City, NE to Hans and Annie (Ribbie) Mumm.
Susan grew up in Linwood, NE, resided in Gibbon, NE and Kearney, NE before settling in Fremont. She married Rock Benjamin in Blair, NE in 1970. She enjoyed gardening, writing letters and sending cards to family and friends. She was known as the family historian.
Susan is survived by her husband, Rock; son, Kevin Benjamin of Georgia; sister, Eunice Guhde of Fremont; 6 grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Christine Trott; 3 brothers, Hans, Jr., Darrell and Dennis; 2 sisters, Georgia and Alta.
Funeral Service will be 1:30 PM, Monday, December 28, 2020 at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont, NE. Rev. Scott Jensen will officiate. Visitation will be from 12-1:30PM, prior to the service on Monday. Burial in Ridge Cemetery.
