FREMONT – Greg Vaugn and Madeline Kuddes with the Fremont Civil Air Patrol have received a donation from the Fremont Area Community Foundation (FACF) to support area youth in aerospace, aviation, science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) programs.
The Fremont Civil Air Patrol is a non-profit that supports youth cadets (ages 12-20) to complete various requirements of the aviation program. Cadets can receive promotion in rank, ribbons, and certificates. Through this program and the generous donation, Fremont and surrounding youth will be eligible for nationally sponsored activities, and flight and academic scholarships.
