FREMONT – During Bob Flittie’s visit with City Administrator, Brian Newton on Monday, talk turned to the proposed Joint City-County Law Enforcement Center. The pair discussed some frequently asked questions.
Newton identified several of the reasons for the proposal and the benefits of having a joint location. Regarding the planned location at 29th and Yager, the land is already jointly owned:

A shared Law Enforcement Center would also benefit the 9-1-1 operations, since the downtown center is not a “hardened facility,” meaning that the structure is not built to withstand serious weather events:
