FREMONT – Here’s your daily look into the world of local sports, with Rich Ray:
Husker Football is finally right around the corner. Head coach Scott Frost’s monthly radio show on the Husker Sports Network cut right to the chase when asked how practice is going:

The Huskers play at Ohio State, Saturday, Oct. 24th at 11am.
UNO swimming and diving head coach Todd Samland announced the first portion of the 2020-21 schedule on Wednesday.
The Mavericks will open competition on October 24 with a triangular against Midland and William Baptist here in Fremont at the Dillon Family Aquatics Center.
Omaha hosts Kansas in its lone fall home event on November 7 before taking on Midland and Saint Ambrose in another triangular November 21-22 at Midland, which will bring the Mavericks back to the DFAC.
The remaining 2020-21 schedule for the Mavericks will be released at a later date.
