3RPHD Covid-19 Update And Weekly Dashboard Check

The Three Rivers Public Health Department (3RPHD) which serves the counties of Dodge, Saunders, and Washington counties, gave an update Friday afternoon and continues to update its COVID-19 Dashboard weekly. 3RPHD is continuing to see cases within the health district.
As of Friday afternoon, Three Rivers COVID-19 Dashboard shows:
So far, 548 people have tested positive for COVID-19 in September in the Three Rivers Jurisdiction and there have 3,213 negative test results.
Break down by county:

  • Dodge County: 230 positive tests and 1,658 negative test results.
  • Saunders County: 223 positive tests and 969 negative test results.
  • Washington County: 83 positive tests and 576 negative test results.

The Three Rivers COVID-19 Dashboard is showing that since March, there have been a total of 1,798 positive COVID-19 test results and 790 recoveries. There have been a total of 19,201 tests administered.

“I want to remind everyone that if you have COVID-19 symptoms or have had a potential high-risk exposure that you should get tested. It is important to know that if you are exposed and are tested immediately it may be too early in your infection for it to produce a positive result. Additionally, a negative result doesn’t mean you may not develop COVID-19 (that is why there is a 14-day quarantine period)”, said Terra Uhing, Executive Director at Three Rivers Public Health Department. Visit https://www.testnebraska.com/en to get scheduled for a COVID-19 test. There is no cost for this test through Test Nebraska.
Sadly, we are reporting three new COVID-19 related deaths. A Dodge County woman in her 80s with underlying health conditions. Two Washington County men in their 80s with underlying health conditions. This brings our total death count to 13 deaths in Dodge County, 3 deaths in Saunders, and 4 deaths in Washington County for a total of 20 deaths in the 3RPHD health district.
Remember that we need everyone to continue to do their part. Stay home if you are sick, wear a face covering when you are out in the public, and wash your hands regularly. As a reminder 3RPHD updates the community risk dials each Wednesday, and the 3RPHD Data Dashboard is updated each weekday. Please visit our website to learn more.
