JLEC Public Meeting Series and Informational Events Kicking Off in September

FREMONT – The first two Joint Law Enforcement Center informational meetings are scheduled ahead of the November ballot voter decision.
The first meeting will be held in the Christensen Field Meeting Room (1710 West 16th Street) on September 22, 2020, from 6:30 – 7:30 pm.
The second meeting will be in the City Auditorium Community Room (925 N Broad Street) on October 22, 2020, from 6:30 – 7:30 pm.
In addition, representatives from the Dodge County Sheriff’s Department and the Fremont Police Department will be at local grocery stores in Fremont each week during September and October to pass out information and answer questions about the proposed law enforcement center.
The representatives will be at the stores from 5-6 pm on the following weekdays in September and October:

  • Tuesdays at Hy-Vee
  • Wednesdays at Walmart
  • Thursdays at Baker’s

KHUB/KFMT will also publishing City Administrator Brian Newton’s weekly publications for the next eight weeks regarding information about the proposed Joint Law Enforcement Center.
