Garage and Vehicle Thefts Reported Wednesday

FREMONT – The Fremont Police Department received reports of a burglary and a couple of thefts on Wednesday.

 

At approximately 7:30 am, a burglary was reported to a garage at a residence in the 1700 block of Fredericksen Street.

The victim reported that during the overnight hours, someone entered the garage through an unsecured door and took multiple items from cars parked inside.  The items included, but are not limited to a wallet, a checkbook, sunglasses, Louis Vuitton purse and loose change and small cash.  The estimated value of the stolen property is $2,500.00.

 

At approximately 9:00 am, a theft from vehicle report was made at a residence in 300 block of north Platte Avenue.

The victim reported someone entered her vehicle while it was parked outside the residence and took miscellaneous items including, but not limited to, cash and banking cards.

The theft is believed to have occurred between 11:30 pm on Tuesday, September 8 and 8:30 am on Wednesday, September 9. The estimated loss is $120.00.

 

At approximately 2:05 pm, a theft from vehicle complaint was made at a residence in the 800 block of west 11th Street.

An IPAD was reported stolen from a car that was parked outside of the residence. The estimated loss is $150.00.
