FREMONT – In honor and recognition of first responders and their support of the community, Baker’s associates will be hosting a free BBQ for all first responders in Fremont and Dodge County on September 11th.
Sheila Lowrie, Baker’s Corporate Affairs Manager, said Baker’s associates really wanted to find a way to say thank you and give back to the first responders who support and provide in the community every day, especially in light of September 11th.
“The associates at Baker’s really thought hosting a BBQ was the perfect way to say thank you to all first responders who come to the aid of those in need everyday. September 11th was the right date to do it, due to the significance of everything first responders did for those in need on the day of the terror attacks,” said Lowrie.
