FREMONT – Softball, Volleyball, Golf and Cross Country scores from yesterday’s contests are in, and football is coming up tonight.

Thursday, 8/28 scores –

High School Softball:

  • Kearney defeats Fremont 11-0 and 16-7

High School Volleyball:

  • Fremont def. Columbus, 18-25, 25-15, 25-20, 25-16
  • Bergan def. Omaha Roncalli, 25-21, 13-25, 25-20, 25-21; Lauren Baker had 13 kills; Kennedy Bacon has 11.  Carlee Hapke had 18 digs; Summer Bojanski had 16 and Addie Gilfry added 11.  Rebecca Baker had 31 set assists.

High School Girls Golf:

  • Bergan takes 3rd in triangular at Stone Creek Golf Course shooting a 251.  Bennington was first at 203 and Arlington was second at 233.  Jocelyn Kumm led Bergan, shooting a 57, good for sixth place.  Olivia Prauner shot a 61; Tillie Fernau shot a 66 and Olivia Fedde shot a 67.  Bennington’s Abby LaSure was the meet medalist with a 39.

(See the Fremont Public Schools COVID-19 Gameday protocol) Tickets may be purchased by immediate family members of participants in the contest – to include Players, Coaches, Band Members, Varsity Cheerleaders and Dance Team Members.  There will not be a student section at home football games.  Everyone entering the stadium must have a pre-purchased ticket, and must wear a mask at all times.

(See the Yutan Public Schools COVID-19 activities protocol) Yutan is limiting visitor attendance to 4 people per player and coach. Bergan’s Coach Mruz has and will communicate with the team about how players submit their 4 names for the list.
If your name is not on Coach Mruz’s list, the cheer team list, or the essential sideline personnel list, you will not be able to attend the Yutan/Bergan game in person. If you are on one of these visitor lists, the visiting team is directed to park in the lot north of the Yutan field and enter through the north gates.  Masks will be required.
