FREMONT – Water line and hydrant repairs will continue across Fremont this week, with a water main repair completed on Tuesday and a hydrant replacement scheduled for Wednesday morning.
The Water Department repaired a suspected water main break today on Tuesday morning, with water turned off on Somers Street from 8th to 10th Street and on 10th Street from Somers to Nye Street. Water service was restored by noon.
Wednesday, the Water Department will be replacing a fire hydrant. Water will be turned off from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Madison Street from 14th to 17th, on Monroe Street from 14th to 15th, and on 15th Street from Madison to Somers Street. The impacted area is highlighted below:
