Early Steps to Repair Fremont/Farmland/Railroad Levee Underway

FREMONT – Work is beginning on tree removal from the “Fremont-Farmland-Railroad Levee” on the southwest side of Fremont. City Administrator Brian Newton Comments:

 
Newton said the City will be responsible for upkeep and maintenance, and plans to apply to enroll in the Corps of Engineers’ Maintenance Program, which could help with costs should future damages occur:
