The Three Rivers Public Health Department (3RPHD) gave an update Monday afternoon on total lab-confirmed COVID-19 cases within the district. Parentheses indicate changes since Friday.
- Dodge County: 714 cases (+4)
- Saunders County: 94 cases (+7)
- Washington County: 62 cases (+4)
Total 3RPHD Case Count: 870 cases (+15)
Over the last 14 days, Dodge County has seen 30 new cases. Dodge County is ranked 9th overall in new case counts over the 14 day period.
9th: Dodge- 30 cases
16th: Saunders- 18 cases
21th: Washington- 11 cases
Total 3RPHD Cases Over 14 Day Period (June 29 – July 13): 59 new cases
As of Friday afternoon, local hospitals reported 317 (+16) medical beds were available, and 70 (+2) patients were hospitalized with COVID-19. Of the 363 ventilators available to area hospitals, 117 (-5) were in use, including 14 (-2) for confirmed COVID-19 patients.
According to the Nebraska DHHS dashboard, there have been 21,399 lab-confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 16,025 recoveries within the state. Nebraska has tested 216,481 people and has had 194,836 negative test results. There are 288 reported deaths.
Assume that COVID-19 is present in all our communities and conduct yourself accordingly. Please be aware of the COVID-19 symptoms, which may include a fever, cough, sore throat, severe fatigue, loss of taste, and smell, or difficulty breathing. In most cases, a person will have more than one of these symptoms. Anyone who has COVID-19 symptoms or develops symptoms should contact their health care provider and tell them how you are feeling and any possible history of exposure.
