The Three Rivers Public Health Department (3RPHD) gave an update on total lab-confirmed COVID-19 cases within the district Wednesday afternoon. Parentheses indicate changes since Monday.
- Dodge County: 702 cases (+5)
- Saunders County: 83 cases (+2)
- Washington County: 54 cases (+3)
Total 3RPHD Case Count: 839 cases (+10)
Over the last 14 days, Dodge County has seen 40 new cases. Dodge County is now ranked 6th overall in new case counts over the 14 day period.
- Douglas: 1,145 cases
- Lancaster: 273 cases
- Sarpy: 216 cases
- Thurston: 58
- Dakota: 43
- Dodge 40 cases
Saunders County is ranked 12th with 15 new cases and Washington County is ranked 33rd with 5 new cases over the last 14 days.
Total 3RPHD Cases Over 14 Day Period (June 24 – July 8): 60 new cases
As of Monday afternoon, local hospitals reported 309 (-2) medical beds were available and 86 (-2) patients were hospitalized with COVID-19. Of the 363 ventilators available to area hospitals, 116 (+10) were in use, including 16 (-1) for confirmed COVID-19 patients.
According to the Nebraska DHHS dashboard, there have been 20,201 lab-confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 14,927 recoveries within the state. Nebraska has tested 195,281 people and has had 174,847 negative test results. There are 282 reported deaths.
Assume that COVID-19 is present in all our communities and conduct yourself accordingly. Please be aware of the COVID-19 symptoms, which may include a fever, cough, sore throat, severe fatigue, loss of taste, and smell, or difficulty breathing. In most cases, a person will have more than one of these symptoms. Anyone who has COVID-19 symptoms or develops symptoms should contact their health care provider and tell them how you are feeling and any possible history of exposure.
