Swimmers Honored at Annual Awards Banquet

FREMONT – Last Tuesday night, local high school swimmers were finally able to conclude the 2019-2020 swim season with the annual awards banquet.
“We celebrated 30 swimmers who had one amazing season,” said coach Ali Granger. Nineteen swimmers earned varsity letters and six earned Academic all Conference honors.
School record setting swims were celebrated for:

  • Mack Prince-100 backstroke
  • Connor Christ-100 Breaststroke
  • Nathaniel McClellan-100 Butterfly
  • Karsen Jesse-500 Freestyle
  • Emma Walz-200 Free, 200 IM, 50 Free, 100 Fly, and 100 Free
  • Boys 200 medley relay- Mack Prince, Connor Christ, Nathaniel McClellan, and AJ Jacobus.
  • Boys 400 free Relay-Mack Prince Nathaniel McClellan, AJ Jacobus and John Monson.


Addie Schiemann was recognized as the first para-All American for her swim in the 50 free this season.  Addie is the first tiger to ever earn All American Honors.
Additional honors awarded included:

  • Most Improved Tiger went to Grace Blick and Josh Iossi
  • Heidi Moran Tiger Pride Award went to Lucy Dillon and Nathaniel McClellan
  • Cub of the year went to Karsen Jesse and Connor Christ
  • Tiger of the year went to Emma Walz Mack Prince and AJ Jacobus
