DICKINSON, ND – The Fremont Moo defeated the Badlands Bigsticks, 7-1 on Sunday night in Dickinson, North Dakota. With the win, the Moo clinched the series win over the defending league champion Big Sticks, two games to one.
Hilton Mehrmann turned in the longest start by any Expedition League pitcher this season, pitching 5.1 innings while allowing just one run. Isaac Van Dyke and Steven Boyd combined for 3.2 innings of one-hit, shutout relief to finish off the win.

The Moo return home to begin a five-game homestand Monday at historic Moller Field (750 S. Broad Street, Fremont NE) against Souris Valley at 7:05 pm. Games on Monday, 7/6 and Wednesday, 7/8 will be broadcast on Big Dog 98.9/1340 starting at 6:55PM.
