Fremont Public Schools Hires New High School Assistant Principal

Fremont, Neb. – (May 12, 2020) Fremont Public Schools is pleased to announce that Seth McClain will be joining the administrative team at Fremont High School as an Assistant Principal.
McClain will replace Vernon Golladay, who was recently named the High School Principal at Wahoo High School. McClain has a Bachelor of Arts degree in secondary education from Peru State College and a Masters of Science in Curriculum and Instruction and Educational Leadership from Doane University.
McClain’s teaching career started in 1999 at Yutan Public Schools. He has also taught at Omaha Burke High School and Schuyler Public Schools. McClain came to Fremont Public Schools in 2011 to teach secondary science and coach boys football as the head coach.
“Seth will bring many quality leadership skills to our high school administrative team. He has a variety of leadership experiences in teaching and coaching and will continue to connect with the community of Fremont in this new role. We are excited to welcome Seth and are looking forward to his transition to this administrative role,” said Myron Sikora, incoming High School Principal.
