FREMONT- The Greater Fremont Development Council is excited to announce a new location of the next round of Grab N Go meals.
They will be sponsoring 230 meals at Huey’s Smokehouse BBQ, located at 2204 N Bell St in Fremont, on Tuesday, May 12 from 4-6 pm. This is open to any and all who need it. First Come, First Serve.
Important Details to remember:
- Limited to ONE meal per person
- Must show event or flyer to receive the meal
- Carry Out Only
- Please practice social distancing
- Stay 6 feet apart if waiting in line or wait in your vehicle until it is safe to receive
- Please wear masks if you get out of your vehicle
GFDC recognizes that there is a need for providing meals to those who are struggling due to unemployment or health concerns. They, along with many organizations & businesses, are doing everything they can to rectify that need.
At the end of March, GFDC was able to serve over 200 meals to the community residents of Fremont and North Bend. 160 at Taco Smack and 60 at Smitty’s Brickhouse.
