FPD And FFD Pull Stolen Vehicle From Johnson Lake

FREMONT- On May 4th, in the late evening, a stolen vehicle was found by the Fremont Police Department stranded in Johnson Lake.
Some individuals were taken into custody, but no names or charges have been released as the investigation is ongoing.
The following morning, officials tried to recover the vehicle but could not find it as it had gone close to 100 yards out into the middle of the lake.
On the morning of May 6th, Blackburn Towing was able to find the vehicle. Divers from the Fremont Fire Department helped attach the vehicle and the Fremont Police Department was on scene to guide and direct the vehicle recovery.
Finally, they were able to pull the white, Ford Fusion from the water. See below for pictures and a link to a video of the joint effort.
