3RPHD Adds 3 Cases To Dodge County COVID-19 Case Count

FREMONT – Three Rivers Public Health Department (3RPHD) has identified three additional cases of COVID-19. These cases are above and beyond the 25 cases identified during the mass testing event.
The cases are all Dodge County residents

  • a male in his 40s
  • a female in her 30’s  
  • a female in her 50s 

All three are self-isolating at home. The contact investigations have been completed and all identified close contacts will self-quarantine and be actively monitored twice daily by public health officials for fever and respiratory symptoms.  All three cases were determined to be community acquired.
Dodge County now has 43 cases, Washington County has 22 cases, and Saunders County has 9 cases. This brings the 3RPHD health jurisdiction total to 74 cases. The state of Nebraska has a total of 2,421 COVID-19 infections – 50 Nebraskans have died.
Please be aware of the COVID-19 symptoms, which may include a fever, cough, sore throat, severe fatigue or difficulty breathing. In most cases, a person will have more than one of these symptoms. Anyone who has COVID-19 symptoms or develops symptoms should contact their health care provider and tell them how you are feeling and any possible history of exposure. Please call ahead before you go to the doctor’s office or an emergency room.
