FREMONT – The donation and distribution center at the Fremont City Auditorium is still open and ready to help; however, the center will be changing their hours this week to make sure there are volunteers available to assist those in need and those donating.
Beginning today, Monday, April 8th, the donation and distribution center will be open on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays during the following hours:
- Mondays: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m
- Wednesdays: 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
- Saturdays: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
The donation and distribution center will be closed Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays.
If you have already accessed the supplies at the auditorium but find yourself in need again, or with new needs, you are more than welcome to revisit the auditorium for more supplies. Donations are available for anyone impacted by the floods who are in need, no matter how long that need goes on or how many times you find yourself in need of assistance.
Uniquely Yours Stability Support will continue to offer all items from their support pantry to anyone in the community who needs assistance. At UYSS, no identification is required and no paperwork is needed. A single individual can pick up items for their whole family or for neighbors, if necessary. Items available include: laundry soap, cleaning supplies, diapers, hygiene & personal care items, reading glasses, clothing, bedding, etc. There is also a computer lab available for your use.
UYSS will offer their supplies on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9:30A to 3:30P, until there is no longer a need. If you need supplies outside of these hours, you are encouraged to call 402-727-8977 – UYSS is happy to accommodate your schedule. Those impacted by the flood are also welcome to visit or call and learn about the community services UYSS can connect you to. UYSS is located at 240 North Main St in Fremont.
If you have pets who need supplies, please contact FurEver Home, Inc. FurEver Home will continue to offer pet care items for people affected by the flood.
