Fremont Moo

The Fremont Moo will leave the way they came, ahead. Fremont entered a four game set with the Casper Horseheads 1.5 games ahead of Casper for the final playoff spot in the Expedition League’s Clark Division and after splitting the final two games of the four game series in a doubleheader matchup the Moo will move forward with that 1.5 game lead in tact.

Casper would add an insurance run in the bottom of the fifth and ultimately take game one of the doubleheader with a final score of 4-2.

Fremont won game two, 15-4.  Fremont is 27-27 on the year and begins a two-game series at Pierre, versus the Trappers at 7:05, tonight.


In the Dodge County Baseball League Championship, Saturday night at Wahoo’s Sam Crawford Field, West Point defeated Wahoo, 2-1.

Lincoln Saltdogs

The Saltdogs and Sioux Falls Canaries got through three innings before heavy rain forced the game’s suspension with the ‘Dogs leading 7-5 at The Birdcage on Sunday afternoon.

The teams will resume the suspended game on Monday evening at 5:05 p.m. The game will be played as scheduled, but the final game of the series will be shortened to seven innings and completed after the conclusion of Game 1.
