2 arrested in connection with drugs delivered to Lincoln Correctional Center inmate

Two people have been arrested in connection with the delivery of drugs to an inmate at the Lincoln Correctional Center.

A 66-year-old Lincoln man was arrested on suspicion of providing contraband to an inmate, the Nebraska State Patrol said, and a 54-year-old Papillion woman was arrested on suspicion of aiding or abetting a felony. Both arrests were made following an incident Wednesday at the prison.

Search warrants also were served at the homes of the man and the woman, and several items were found that are related to the investigation, the patrol said.
