Women’s Lacrosse Season Comes to Close with Road Loss

MARSHALL, Mo. – Midland University saw their women’s lacrosse season come to a close on Saturday as they fell to Missouri Valley College by a score of 20-6. The Lady Warriors finish the season 4-7 overall and sixth in the KCAC with a conference record of 2-5.

Jada Jordan and Megan Collins both scored twice for Midland in their finale. Jordan put eight shots up with seven on goal while Collins had two of her seven shots on target. Dominique Hernandez and Masey Jay score the other two goals.

Riley Yanek, who was held in check in the final game, finished with 29 goals on the year which ranks 10th most in the conference and sets a new Midland school record for season goals. Her 33 points this season ties the season mark set by Elyse Stebel a year ago.
