Two-time American League All-Star Clay Buchholz fired six-plus solid innings for Omaha, while fellow former All-Stars Salvador Perez and Alex Gordon each clubbed run-scoring sixth-inning doubles to lead the Storm Chasers to a 4-1 victory over the Nashville Sounds on Sunday afternoon at Werner Park.

Buchholz (6.1 IP, 5 H, R, ER, BB, 3 K) scattered five hits and faced just two batters more than the minimum through his first six frames. At one point he set down seven consecutive hitters between the fourth through sixth innings.

Omaha and Nashville wrap up their three-game set with a Monday matinee. First pitch is scheduled for 11:05 a.m. CT. LHP Jonathan Dziedzic (0-1, 1.50) is expected to get the nod for the Storm Chasers, with the Sounds slated to send RHP Daniel Gossett (0-0, 0.00).
