Sophomore Margaret LaVigne earned a second-team All-Summit selection, the league office announced Wednesday evening.

It’s the second consecutive season of collecting All-Summit honors for LaVigne after being named to the All-Summit Freshman team last season. LaVigne’s selection is the eighth All-Summit honoree for the Maverick women’s soccer program under the helm of head coach Tim Walters.

LaVigne helped anchor an Omaha defense that held opponents to one goal or less in 13 matches, including a quartet of shutouts.
