Number 9 CU Volleyball Will Host NCAA Tournament

No. 9 national seed and No. 9-ranked Creighton Volleyball hosts the NCAA Tournament for the second time this weekend when the Bluejays make their seventh straight trip, and eighth overall, to the Big Dance.
The Bluejays (28-4, 18-0 BIG EAST) will meet South Dakota (21-9, 13-3 Summit) on Friday at 6:00 p.m. in a battle of league tournament champions.
Friday’s South Dakota/Creighton winner advances to play the victor of Friday’s 3:30 p.m. match between Saint Mary’s (19-9, 11-7 West Coast) and No. 22 Washington (18-12, 10-10 Pac-12).
Saturday’s match-up of First Round winners will begin at 7:00 p.m., with a trip to the Sweet 16 on the line.
D.J. Sokol Arena (2,500 capacity) in Omaha, Neb., will host the action.
