The Nebraska women’s tennis team took down the Eastern Michigan Eagles and South Dakota Coyotes in back-to-back matches at the Sid and Hazel Dillon Tennis Center on Sunday.
The day started off with a 10 a.m. matchup where the Huskers dominated the Eagles 4-0 with both precision and speed.
After a two-hour break, the invigorated squad returned to the courts at 1:30 p.m. to embark on its 6-0 victory over the South Dakota Coyotes.
The 4-0 defeat of the Eagles and 6-0 defeat of the Coyotes brings the Huskers’ 2018 season record to 3-2. Nebraska competes again next weekend as it hosts the SIUE Cougars and North Dakota Fighting Hawks on Saturday, Feb. 10. Play in the first match against the Cougars will kick off at 1 p.m., followed by a 4:30 p.m start time against the Fighting Hawks.
