The Omaha men’s golf team took 13th place at the Bubba Barnett Intercollegiate on Tuesday.
The Mavericks shot a final-round score of 309 to finish at 911 for the tournament. Host Arkansas State won the event with a score of 838. ASU’s “B” team finished second at 867, and Oral Roberts was third at 871.
Cole Christain led the Mavericks in scoring with a total of 225 that included a final-round tally of 78. He finished 40th in the field of 74 golfers.
The Mavericks are back in action at the El Macero Classic hosted by UC Davis and Nevada on Friday-Sunday, April 13-15 in El Macero, Calif.
