Boys Golf Championships

Due to inclement weather, Day 1 of the Boys Golf Championships were cancelled. All championship events will now each be an 18-hole event today. Tee times & pairings will remain the same.

Omaha Storm Chasers Baseball

Tuesday’s scheduled matchup between the Omaha Storm Chasers and Iowa Cubs at Werner Park was postponed due to high winds and inclement weather.

Tuesday’s game will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Wednesday, May 22, with game one slated to start at 5:05pm CT. Both games will be seven inning contests, with game two starting approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of game one.

UNO Baseball

Omaha begins its postseason play with a Wednesday, May 22 matchup at Noon against the No. 4 seed Western Illinois.

Huskers Baseball – Big Ten Tournament

The Nebraska baseball team (28-20, 15-9 Big Ten) travels to Omaha this week for the Big Ten Tournament at TD Ameritrade Park.

The Huskers, who earned the No. 5 seed in the tournament after tying for third in the final regular-season standings, open the tournament against No. 4 seed Minnesota (26-25, 15-9 Big Ten) on Wednesday at 9 p.m. Tonight’s game will be broadcast on Big Dog 98.9 FM and 1340 AM with the Husker Sports Network.

Nebraska is making its seventh Big Ten Tournament appearance in eight years since joining the conference before the 2012 season. The Huskers have taken runner-up honors twice, falling in the championship game to Indiana in 2013 in Minneapolis and 2014 in Omaha. The only season Nebraska didn’t qualify for the Big Ten Tournament was in 2018.
