Girls State Basketball Starts Today
We’ll be broadcasting games for Elkhorn, Elkhorn South, Archbishop Bergan, Wahoo Neumann, North Bend Central, and Wahoo High School beginning today and following each team as far as they go – hopefully to the championships on Saturday.
Thursday’s game schedule:
- Elkhorn South vs. Sidney – 9A – Boomer 97.3
- Archbishop Bergan vs. Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family – 10:45A – Mix 105.5
- Wahoo Neumann vs. North Bend Central – 1:45P – Big Dog 98.9 and 1340
- Wahoo High vs. Adams Central – 3:45P – Mix 105.5
- Elkhorn High vs. Waverly – 8:45P – Boomer 97.3

The NAIA National Indoor Track and Field Championships begin today in Brookings, South Dakota. Midland University has athletes competing in the event that runs through Saturday.
The Warriors also have athletes competing in the NAIA Swimming Championships. The competition is in Columbus, Georgia and runs through Saturday.
The Husker men’s basketball team looks to knock off its second ranked team on the road this season on Thursday, as the Huskers travel to Ann Arbor to face the No. 9/10 (AP/Coaches) Michigan Wolverines. Tipoff at the Crisler Center is set for 6 p.m. (central).
The game will be broadcast on Big Dog 98.9 FM and 1340 AM with the Husker Sports Network.
The Creighton women’s basketball team enters the final weekend of the regular season playing for seeding and much more as the Bluejays begin the weekend against #13 Marquette at 7:00 pm on Friday night.
The Omaha baseball program continues the road series with a three-game slate at Savannah State in Savannah, Ga. The games are scheduled Friday-Sunday, March 1-3.
