Nebraska head football coach Scott Frost told USA Today last week that he wishes his “national championship” ring from UCF would say “Peach Bowl champion and undefeated season” instead. He stood by those comments this morning, appearing on 96.9 The Game in Orlando.

Frost said he wishes the ring would have said ‘Peach Bowl champion’ on them instead, but he’s ready to put the matter behind him.
Frost said Thursday he doesn’t regret his comments to USA Today, saying that a ring should represent exactly what you’ve accomplished.
season there. The Knights finished No. 6 in the final Associated Press top 25 poll. Frost said he’ll always cherish his time at UCF.
While he’s hesitant to do so himself, Frost says he has no issue with UCF calling themselves national champions.
