Rayanna Carter led four Mavericks in double figures with a game-high 14 points, and the Omaha women’s basketball team won its third straight game, downing Graceland 81-39 on Sunday at Baxter Arena.
With the win, the Mavericks improved to 4-3 on the season. The game was an exhibition contest for the Yellowjackets, who remain 9-2 on the season.
Carter was 5-of-6 from the floor, including a perfect 4-of-4 effort at the free throw line, while dishing out three assists and seizing three steals.
Joining Carter in double digits was Juliana Chagas with 12 points, four rebounds and three assists. Claire Killian added 12 points, while Andi Pierce chipped in 10 points, three boards and three assists.
Omaha returns to action on Wednesday, Dec. 5, against Creighton. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. at D.J. Sokol Arena.
