Husker Update: Swim & Dive, Men’s Basketball

The Nebraska swimming and diving team just finished its third day in the Mizzou Invite with just one day left in the meet. The Huskers remain in fifth place out of thirteen different teams competing in the meet after scoring 245 points throughout the first three days in Missouri. The team had 12 swimmers and two divers compete in last night’s final events.

The final scoring at the end of the third evening has Nebraska remaining in fifth place with 245 points. The four teams ahead of the Huskers include host Missouri (567.5) in first, Arkansas (463) in second, San Diego State (440) in third and BYU (251) in fourth. The invitational has just one more day, starting today, at 10 a.m.

Men’s Basketball

The Nebraska men’s basketball team looks for its second straight win on Friday night, as the Huskers host the Southern Jaguars. Tipoff at Pinnacle Bank Arena is slated for 7 p.m.  The game will be broadcast on Big Dog Country, 98.9 FM and 1340 AM, with the Husker Sports Network.
