Husker Men’s Gymnasts Will Compete in First Session at NCAA Championships

The No. 7 Nebraska men’s gymnastics team aims to wrap-up an outstanding season this weekend at the 2018 NCAA Championships in Chicago, Ill. The Huskers hope to advance to the team finals for the second year in a row.

The Championships will be held April 20-21 at the UIC Pavilion. Out of the two qualifying sessions on Friday, Nebraska will compete in the first session at 1 p.m. NU will compete alongside No. 2 Minnesota, No. 3 Michigan, No. 6 Stanford, No. 10 Navy and No. 11 Air Force. The second session, which begins at 6 p.m. will showcase No. 1 Oklahoma, No. 4 Illinois, No. 5 Ohio State, No. 8 Penn State, No. 9 Iowa and No. 12 California.

The finals will take place on Saturday night at 6 p.m. The top-three teams and the top-three all-around competitors not on one of the qualifying teams, plus the top-three individuals on each event not already qualified on a team or as an all-around competitor will advance to the finals from each of the two qualifying sessions.
