High School Basketball Enters Post Season Semifinals

In boys’ post-season high school basketball last night:

The Blair Bears played at Omaha Roncalli Catholic, versus the Crimson Pride in the semifinals of the B-3 Sub-District Tournament.  The hosting Pride defeated Blair, 67-64.  Roncalli was by Jackson Dotzler with 30 points.  Shane Orr scored 14 while Alex Rodgers added 10.  Blair was led by Joe Manchester with 25 points.  Garrett Thomsen scored 14 and Qunincy Nichols added before fouling out.  Roncalli is 21-2 and will host Bennington in the Sub-District Final, tonight.  The Badgers downed South Sioux City, 86-55.

Blair ends the year 11-11.

The Archbishop Bergan boys basketball team plays in the semifinals of the D1-3 Sub-District Tournament at Aquinas High School, tonight, versus Clarkson/Leigh.  Start time has been moved up to 6:30PM.  The game will be broadcast on Big Dog 98.9 FM and 1340 AM. With a winter storm warning beginning at 6PM in the area, we’ll be watching for any postponements and will announce the same on our Twitter.

Girls Basketball Semifinals Tonight:

The Fremont High girls basketball team will play host to Bellevue West at Al Bahe Gymnasium, in the A-6 District Semifinals.  Tip-off has been moved up to 5pm because of impending weather.  The game will be broadcast on Mix 105.5, FM. Again, keep your eye on our Twitter for any potential postponement or change to this game due to weather.
