GPAC Baseball Postseason Tournament Preview

FREMONT, Neb. – For the third consecutive season, Midland University will serve as a host to one of two sites in the Great Plains Athletics Conference (GPAC) Baseball Postseason Tournament. Games will be played at Moller Field on May 3-5, 2018.

Moller Field, home of Midland Baseball, is located at 750 S. Broad Street in Fremont.

The 2018 GPAC Baseball Championship game is scheduled for Tuesday, May 8 with the highest remaining seed serving as the host. Midland has played in the championship game in five straight seasons, winning the tournament last year.

Northwestern will serve as the other host site and have secured the GPAC’s first berth to the 2018 NAIA Opening Round, while the tournament champion will receive the conference’s second bid. If Northwestern win the GPAC Postseason Championship, then the regular season runner-up (Midland) will receive the second berth to the NAIA Opening Round.

All games played in the Midland Bracket at Moller Field will be broadcast live, here.
