Golf: Champions Run Play Suspended Due to Weather

Weather overtook the first round of stroke play qualifying at the 51st Nebraska Match Play Championship at Champions Run.

After heavy rains throughout the day, play was suspended at 6:48 p.m. when the weather turned dangerous. Norfolk’s Luke Kluver led the way, finishing eagle-birdie to shoot 67 (-5), the low round by two strokes. The first round will resume at 7:30 a.m., and the second round will now start at 8:30 a.m. All second round starting times have been adjusted one hour.
