Fremont Wins First Unified Bowling Title in Dramatic Style
Fremont won its first ever Unified Bowling State Championship on Monday, defeating Norfolk 3-2 in the final round.

LINCOLN – The Fremont Tigers claimed their first ever Unified Bowling State Championship, and they did it in dramatic fashion.

In the best of five games final round Norfolk and Fremont were tied 157-157 after the tenth frame of the fifth game. The tie-breaker was a one-ball bowl-off. Fremont’s Dimitri Monteith bowled first and knocked down nine pins. Norfolk’s Daniel Thomson bowled next and knocked down seven, giving Fremont the win.
