Fremont & Bergan Golf, Tennis and Soccer Results; Track Coming Up Today


The Fremont High boys golf team competed in the Lincoln Southeast Invite at Wilderness Ridge Golf Course, in Lincoln, yesterday.  The Tigers finished 11th in the 15-team meet with a 375.  Fremont’s Riley Harms finished fifth with a 75.  Luke Kluver of Norfolk was the meet medalist, shooting a 72.  Lincoln Southwest won the team title with a 301.

The Archbishop Bergan boys golf team finished seventh in the Logan View Invite at Elkhorn Valley Golf Course, in Hooper, yesterday, shooting a 373.  Bancroft-Rosalie/Lyons-Decatur won the meet with a 307.  Devin Darnell of West Point-Beemer was the meet medalist with a 73.  Bergan’s Preston Tracy shot an 86.  AJ Walter shot an 88.  Lance Myers shot a 99.  Jack Wilmes shot 100 and Ayden Weier shot a 112.


The Fremont High girls tennis team defeated Ralston in a rain-shortened dual, 4-2.  Gabi Keaton, Miah Vakiner, Hannah Wilson and Michaela Fisher all earned wins for the Tigers.


The Fremont High boys soccer team took on Kearney in the A-2 District Tournament at Kearney, yesterday.  The Bearcats defeated the Tigers, 5-0.  Fremont ends the year 4-11.  Kearney will play in the District Championship tomorrow night, versus Millard West.


The Fremont High girls and boys track and field teams will host the HAC Meet at Appleget Field at Fremont High at 11:30, today.
