Fremont High competed in the HAC Track and Field Championships yesterday at Kearney High School.  The boys won the conference title, while the girls took fourth.

The Tiger boys scored 127 points.  Lincoln Southwest was second with 126.  For the boys, the 4×800 relay of Reed Johannsen, Matthew Klein, Ben Schulz and Jose Gonzalez, took first in 7:59.44.  Wes Ferguson won the 400 in 49.42.  Ferguson also won the 800 in 1:57.55.  Jose Gonzalez won the 1600 in 4:25.08.  The 4×400 relay of Lucas Arps, Jose Gonzalez, Ross McMahon and Wes Ferguson was first in 3:24.12.

The Fremont girls scored 77 points.  Lincoln Southwest was first with 153.33.  The Lady Tigers 4×800 relay of Myia Johnson, Taylor McCabe, Emily Nau and Elli Dahl took first in 9:31.46, set a new conference meet record.  The Tiger 4×400 relay of Taylor McCabe, Avery Decker, Elli Dahl and Lucy Dillon finished first in 4:04.61.
