BOSTON 4 – Nashville 3… Jake DeBrusk had a goal and an assist for the Bruins. Dave Krejci assisted on three goals.

Montreal 3 – BUFFALO 2 (SO)… Jonathan Drouin scored the lone goal in the shootout to lift the Canadiens over the Sabres. Carey Price made 43 saves and stopped all three attempts in the shootout.

Colorado 4 – N.Y. RANGERS 2… Matt Duchene scored a goal and assisted on another as the Avalanche doubled up on the Rangers.

Washington 5 – OTTAWA 4 (SO)… Alex Ovechkin scored three times in the third period and again in the shootout as the Capitals outlasted the Senators. Evgeny Kuznetsov had three assists.

DETROIT 4 – Minnesota 2… Henrik Zetterberg and Martin Frk netted third-period goals and the Red Wings christened their new arena with a win over the Wild. Anthony Mantha had a goal and two assists.

CHICAGO 10 – Pittsburgh 1… Brandon Saad had a three-goal night in leading the Blackhawks to a rout of the Penguins. Ryan Hartman had a goal and four assists. Patrick Kane finished with a goal and three assists.

ANAHEIM 5 – Arizona 4… Corey Perry scored two goals and assisted on Andrew Gogliano’s game-tying goal in the third period as the Ducks erased a 4-1 deficit ton their way past the Coyotes. Rickard Rakell netted the go-ahead goal with 3:30 remaining.

LOS ANGELES 2 – Philadelphia 0… Jonathan Quick made 35 saves in the shutout as the Kings topped the Flyers. Trevor Lewis and Tyler Toffoli scored for L.A.
