Fall 2018 tournament play has officially ended for the Nebraska men’s golf team as they completed the final round of the three-day Quail Valley Intercollegiate, in Vero Beach, Florida yesterday afternoon. NU notched a 54-hole team score of 876 (+12). NU had a team score of 290 (+2) today after shooting a 297 (+9) in the first round and a 289 (+1) in round two.
North Florida took home the tournament title after carding an 834 (-30) over the 54-hole tournament with South Florida (-29) finishing a close second.
Tanner Owen set a new career-best for lowest finish in tournament competition at the Quail Valley Intercollegiate. He placed in a tie for 12th after shooting a 212 (-4) over the three-round tournament
NU will be back in action to start off the spring season on Feb. 2, as they host the Big Red Alumni Invite in Jacksonville, Fla. TPC at Sawgrass.
