Elks Country Club To Host 51st Annual NE Junior Amateurs

Elks Country Club in Columbus will host the 51st Nebraska Junior Amateur Championship on July 12-14. The championship features 54 holes of Stroke Play, with a cut to the low 40 scores and ties after 36 holes. Plainview’s Tucker Knaak is the defending champion after winning the title last year at Indian Trails Country Club in Beemer. A field of 91 players will compete.

The 18th Nebraska Girls’ Amateur Championship will be conducted at Elks Country Club in Columbus on July 12-13. Last year, Chadron’s Ricki Hickstein won her first title with a three-stroke victory at Indian Trails Country Club in Beemer. The championship features 36-holes of stroke play with trophies for the champion and runner-up, and medals for the Top 10 finishers. A field of 41 players will compete.
