Blair High Takes First in B4 District Track & Field

The Blair High girls and boys track and field teams competed in the B-4 District meet in Albion, yesterday.  In the boys meet, Blair was first with 120 points.  Ponca was second with 100.  For the Bears. Dalton Ryan was second in the pole vault at 14-2.  Colton Anderson was second in the triple jump at 41-9.5.  Trenton Kantor was third in the 200 at 23.24.  Adam Brehm won the 400 in 51.80.  Evan Slominski was second in the 800 at 2:03.28.  Samuel Lueders won the 1600 in 4:43.30.  Patrick Wolff was third in 4:53.20.  Lueders won the 3200 in 10:06.29.  The Blair 4×100 relay was second in 44.48.  The Bears 4×400 relay was first in 3:29.05 and the Bears 4×800 relay was second at 8:28.40.

In the girls meet, Blair was first with 103.3 points.  Columbus Scotus was second with 74.  For the Lady Bears. Grace Galbraith won the 100 in 13.02.  Emma Osborn was second at 13.03.  Galbraith won the 200 in 26.07 and Osborn was third at 26.61.  Sophia Kirwan was second in the 400 at 1:00.43.  Lilly Johnson was second in the 800 at 2:25.05.  Johnson won the 1600 in 5:40.26.  Alexandra Rand was third in the 300 hurdles at 48.54.  The Lady Bears 4×100 relay was first in 50.73.  The Blair 4×400 relay was first in 4:09.10 and the Lady Bears 4×800 relay was second in 10:13.24.
